Apirak Today 3 | 17.04.05

In this first post after the Songkran recess, I’ll start off with my evergreen, foolproof pet peeve: Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin and his Bangkok Today newsletter. Mind you that this is still the very same publication as the one featured in Apirak Today and Apirak Today 2.

Today’s theme is Handing/Receiving.

The democrats’ ever since coming into power have done nothing but shit. I am so sick of Apirak flaunting the people who have big money with his shit ideas. Why does his ideas always focus on rich people or shall I say rich democrat politicians?

When is that piece of shit going to clean up the city once and for all? The least that shithole could do is strictly zone/limit the beer bars and establish tough anti-harassment laws. Any dedicated city manager would do just that. I am very tired of hearing Bangkok being known to foreigners as slut heaven.

I have been to many countries and I believe that Thailand has that special something to be one of the top tourist destinations in the world. How many high-class tourist does Thailand lose every year because of its shit reputation? Nope lets not attract high-class tourist, lets attract these low-shit tourist who destroy our culture and molest our women.

Sometimes I believe that the creativity of Thais is overrated. Actually I know it’s overrated. Thailand can be known as marriage heaven (or something other than ‘slut’ heaven), but nope that title goes to France and what do they have? An Eiffel tower.

I swear, if TAT does not become more multidimensional in terms of thinking and if it continues to lack a clear vision, then Thailand will get beaten by other countries because they too have beautiful countries as well. For sluts’ sake, where is the strength of Thailand? It’s in its culture; its in Songkran; its in Loy Kratong, not skyscrapers scattered recklessly over the city and certainly not beer bars. Our strengths, once strong, is being destroyed by perverts visiting the country. So if the government does not deal with those prostitutes then maybe ten years from now, Thailand will just be one of those countries. Corporations/industries normally get reformed once they have hit bottom. Can our culture ever get reformed once it hits bottom with/without NGO’s crying shit?
