Yesterday the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration held a “development”-theme confabulation for the thousand-strong community leaders from Bangkok’s 50 districts, with such luminaries as Dr. Prawase “Gross Domestic Happiness” Wasi as guest speakers. The event was supposed end at 16:00 but was cut short by one whole session as the participants, civil servants included, had mostly left by the afternoon.

A total failure? Not at all. As one district official wryly noted, “Khun Apirak had already taken pictures.”

Tax bahts down the drain AGAIN!!! What does the media see in this dude? He looks like a convoluted skunk. None of those bloody democrats ever cared about Gross Domestic Happiness. I remember some influential democrats making the remark of moving to another country if PM Thaksin was reelected. Ironically, those nincompoops never moved out.
