Two requests | 27.09.05
While you’re waiting for my epic-sized treatise about the Thai newspaper (trust me, it’ll be worth the wait), can I ask you for two small favors?
- If you’re running Windows XP and haven’t done so already, you should turn on and fine-tune ClearType. It’s the most dramatic improvement to your computing experience that you can make in four clicks. But even more importantly, my site will look better to you. That makes me happy.
- Please tell me about any mistakes in my writing, especially stupid ones like a missing word or phrase, and stupider ones like a redundant word or phrase. I will try to cut those down, I promise. But if and when I fail, I enjoy being corrected. It makes me happy.

Umm.. ‘I will try to cut down on such mistakes in the future’ sounds much better.
